Vivo has already launched the X21 smartphone which comes in two variants one with a normal fingerprint sensor, and the other one with an under-display fingerprint sensor. But Vivo has launched the new Vivo X21i smartphone in China with a fingerprint sensor on the back. The Vivo X21i is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 SoC whereas the other two devices are powered by Snapdragon 660.
If we talk about the other specifications the Vivo X21i sports a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch on the top of the display. The phone comes in 6GB and 64GB storage variant, on the other hand, there is also another version with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.0 on top.
The Vivo X21i features dual rear cameras consist of a 12MP primary rear camera and a 5MP secondary rear camera. Together these cameras will come with AI capabilities of scene recognition and portrait shots. On the front, there will be a 24MP snapper for AI-powered portrait selfies. It is dual sim device and supports dual 4G VoLTE.
The Vivo X21i is fueled by a 3200mAh battery with fast charging support. It will be available in Ruby Red, Aurora White, and Polar Night Black colors. The 64 GB storage & 6 GB RAM variant is priced at 2,698 Yuan (roughly $425 roughly ). And the variant with 128 GB storage & 4 GB RAM costs 2,698 Yuan (roughly $425 / Rs.29,000 approx.). The Vivo X21i is available for purchase in China from May 19. As of now, there is no information about the India launch.
