HTC Desire 12 And Desire 12+ Launched in India

Forgotten smartphone maker HTC has launched their two mid-range smartphones in India, HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+. These smartphones was first unveiled by HTC in March this year.

The HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ are priced at Rs 15,800 and Rs 19,790 respectively. And these are available via HTC India online store and other offline retail stores.

The HTC Desire 12 sports an 18:9 5.5-inch display with HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor. The device comes in two RAM and storage variants, one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage while the other one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

The Desire 12 comes with a single rear camera of 13MP with f/2.2 aperture and it also has a 5MP selfie shooter with an LED flash. The device is backed up by a 2,730 battery and runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box, with the HTC’s Sense UI on top.

On the other hand, HTC Desire 12+ is a big brother of Desire 12 with a taller 6-inch 18:9 display with HD+ resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The cameras on the Desire 12+ is a dual camera setup with a13MP primary shooter along with a secondary 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP snapper for selfies. The device is backed up by a 2,965mAh battery pack and runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box, with the HTC’s Sense UI on top.

Both the HTC devices are available in  Black, Silver, Purple, and Gold colour variants. Both the devices are certainly underpowered as compared to other devices in the same price segment.
