The much-hyped Vivo X21 with an under-display fingerprint sensor has been officially launched in India. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart, Vivo’s website, and other offline stores from today at a price of Rs 35,999.
The Vivo X21 sports a bezel-less 6.28-inch Full-HD+ 1080×2280 pixel resolution FullView Super AMOLED display with a notch at the top. It is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 4.0 skin on top out-of-the-box, but due to the blessings of Google Android P beta on this device is out.
The main highlight of the Vivo X21 smartphone is the under-display fingerprint scanner. It has a fingerprint sensor beneath the OLED screen. In terms of camera, the X21 has a dual-rear camera setup which consists of a 12MP primary shooter with a f/1.8 aperture and 5MP secondary depth sensor with a f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 12MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture along with that the smartphone also has an IR fill light and 3D mapping for face unlock.
Vivo X21 also features a Hi-Fi audio chip for superior sound and it houses a 3,200 mAh battery with fast charging support. It is priced at Rs35,999 in India which is lower as compared to China pricing of 3,598 yuan. There is only one color variant of black color available in India. The device will be sold exclusively via Flipkart, selected offline stores, and Vivo’s official website from May 29.
