iPhone SE 2 Launing in May with A10 Fusion Chip and no Headphone Jack

The most affordable variant of the iPhone the iPhone SE is soon going to get a refresh and we will soon see a new second Generation iPhone SE. According to a report from Mac Otakara, Apple is planning to launch a  new iPhone SE model in May likely before WWDC. The iPhone SE 2 will have the exact same physical size as the current iPhone SE.

The upcoming iPhone is rumored to be named as iPhone SE 2 and it will pack the 2nd Gen TouchID and will have the same 4-inches LCD display with same resolution and thick bezels at top and bottom. Apple is likely to follow their recent trend and will the 3.5mm audio jack. Last phone with a headphone jack the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are likely to be discontinued in September which means that Apple will not sell an iPhone with a headphone jack.

According to the recent rumors, the iPhone SE 2 is likely to be powered by  A10 Fusion chipset which is up to 40 percent faster than the A9 processor which is currently powering the iPhone SE. New reports suggest that the new iPhone SE will have glass and support wireless charging. Another leaked document of ECC hints that a  new iPhone is launching very soon and it could be the iPhone SE 2.

If we look at the recent trend Apple has only launched new products in May twice in the past five years. In 2013 they launched the fifth-generation iPod touch and in 2015 a refreshed 15-inch MacBook Pro. We are likely to see the iPhone SE2 on or before the WWDC 2018 kickstarts in June.
