Motorola has finally launched their most waited Moto G6 series of smartphones at an event in Brazil. Moto has launched three variants Moto G6 Play, Moto G6, and Moto G6 Plus. These are mid-range smartphones which run on Android 8.0 Oreo and all come with a water repellent coating as well.
Moto G6 Plus sports a 5.9-inch IPS LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ (1080p) resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is also expandable via MicroSD card. The smartphone is backed up by a 3200 mAh with support for turbocharging.
The Moto G6 Plus comes with a 3D glass on the back which makes the device more premium. The smartphone also has face unlock as well as fingerprint scanner on the front. The device has dual rear cameras 12MP+5MP with Dual Pixel Autofocus and f/1.7 aperture on the bigger 12MP sensor. You can capture portrait photographs and it is capable of recording 4K videos. On the front, there is an 8MP snapper for selfies with LED flash support.
The Moto G6 Plus is going on sale in Brazil and Mexico but most likely it will come to India soon in May or alter. It is priced 299 euros( Rs 24,000 approx.).
The Moto G6 is just a smaller version of the G6 Plus as it sports a 5.7 inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with either 3GB RAM and 32GB storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The G6 has a fingerprint scanner on the front and also comes with face unlock feature.
In terms of camera, the G6 Plus has dual cameras consist of 12MP+5MP but the 12MP sensor doesn’t have dual pixel autofocus and has an only f/1.8 aperture. It is also not capable of shooting 4k videos. The smartphone is backed up by a 3000 mAh battery and also supports fats charging via USB Type-C port.
The Moto G6 is priced at $249 which is equivalent to Rs 16,000 and will soon be available in India.
The Moto G6 Play is the low-end variant in the Moto G6 line up. It sports a display of 5.7 inches with HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The highlighting feature of the device is 4000 mAh battery which also supports turbocharging.
The Moto G6 Play is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 SoC coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16/32GB storage. The device has a single 13MP rear camera and a 5MP snapper for selfies.
The G6 Play is priced at $199, which is roughly around Rs 13,000 in India.
