Xiaomi going to launch the Mi 6X which could be the Mi A2 for the Indian and other international markets. The smartphone will launch in China on 25th of this month. The Mi 6X and the Mi A2 will have the exact same hardware but differ only in software as the 6X will run on MIUI and the A2 will run pure stock Android which comes under Android One program.
just a few days before Xiaomi has posted a few teaser images which were supposedly captured by the front-facing camera of Mi 6X. The smartphone will have a single selfie camera on the front which is of 20MP and have the f/2.2 lens and an LED flash. On the back, the smartphone houses a dual rear camera setup which consists of a 20MP and 12MP sensors.
The Mi 6X / Mi A2 will sport 5.99-inch LCD display with a full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC and will offer three different RAM + storage configurations i.e. 4GB + 32GB, 6GB RAM + 64GB and 6GB RAM + 128GB. The device will be backed by a smaller (according to today’s standard)2,910mAh battery.
The Mi 6X will run on MIUI 9 or MIUI 9.5 which will be based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It will be officially unveiled on April 25 then we will have more information about the device like pricing and availability in India.
