In the past, if you want to test the developer version of the upcoming Android then you should either have a Pixel or a nexus device. But now at Google I/O things have changed and Google surprised everyone by launching a more open Android P Beta program.
The Android P Beta will not only be available for Google but also other manufacturers who all partnered with Google. The new devices which are eligible for the Android P Beta are Essential PH1 Phone, Nokia 7 plus, Oppo R15 Pro, Sony Xperia XZ2, Vivo X21 and X21UD, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. It looks good that devices other than Pixel phones will get the taste of latest Android.
Interestingly the Android P Beta will also be available for the not yet launched OnePlus 6. The OnePlus 6 will be going to launch in India on May 17th.
If you have any one of the above devices then you can head over to this link and sign in with your Google ID. After this, you will get the update on your smartphone. Android P update will bring a lot of new features but this time you can get it faster than anybody else.
