Smartron has launched their first wearable device the tband. The band has a complete health monitoring system as it comes with ECG (Electrocardiography) and BP (Blood Pressure) monitoring system which are used to a Unique Fatigue & Stress Factor. Not only that the band also has an ability to continuously measure heart rate. There is also a thealth app which will give the user an overall Health Index score which is actually based on activity tracking, calorie count, sleeping patterns, stress & fatigue levels as well as Blood Pressure and Heart Health.
The Smartron tband is also dust and water resistance as it comes with IP67 ratings, so worries about swat during an intense workout. The band also has a 0.96-inch OLED display which will show basic fitness parameters such as calorie burn, steps and running distance. The device also features customizable alerts for waking up, medicine reminders, DND, inactive and SOS alerts, SMS and notifications. The band is not only is compatible with Android but also with iOS devices.
In terms of processing power, the tband has MT2523/MT2511 processor and also has a built-in Bluetooth for connectivity for your smartphone. If we talk about sensors then the band packs 3-Axis Accelerometer, ECG, Optical heart rate monitor (PPG) sensors. The tband is backed up by a 100mAH battery which looks small but it can easily give you 2 to 4 days of battery life.
