Google has finally launched their smart speakers Home and Home Mini in India.The Home Mini is priced at Rs 4,499 and the bigger Google Home will be available at Rs 9,999. Both speakers will be available via Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales.
First Google Home smart speaker was launched in 2016 but now it is available in India. The smart speaker will be the direct competition to Amazon’s Echo line of connected speakers by Alexa.
Both the Google Home and the Mini are smart speakers with built-in Google Assistant, and users are able to search, playing music, getting daily routines and manage tasks around the home. Not only that if you have compatible smart home accessories and your normal Android Phone then you can completely control them with voice commands. According to Google, there are over 1,500 devices and 200 smart home brands which are supported by Google Assistant.
Google Home will also support Hindi soon along with some other Indian languages in the future. Not only that Google Home also has a support for wide variety of Android apps like Netflix, YouTube, Gaana, Saavn, and Google Play Music app. The larger Google Home will come with interchangeable bases which are available in a variety of colors wheres Google Home Mini will be available in black and white.
