Huawei Watch 2 2018 Surfaces Come With Wear OS Water-Resistant And AMOLED Display

Looks like Huawei is planning to launch its new smartwatch in 2018. The upcoming Huawei’s smartwatch will be named as Watch 2 2018 and it may launch sometimes this year. The Watch has been surfaced on the internet from the popular leaker Evan Blass.

The Huawei Watch 2 2018 will sport a 1.2inch (possibly circular) display. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 2100 which is specifically designed by Qualcomm for smartwatches. The display on the watch could be of resolution 390×390 resolution and 326PPI. In terms of RAM, the smartwatch will have 768MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The Watch 2 will be fueled by a 420mAh battery which feels quite small for a smartwatch. In terms of connectivity, the watch has  Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), GPS and eSIM for cellular 4G connectivity.

The watch will have the IP68 rating for water and dust resistance that means it will also be resistant to sweat. For sensors, the watch includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, heart rate, capacitance, ambient light, geomagnetic sensors. By looking at the image we can easily see that the Watch will have a bunch of Watch faces.
