ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 Snapdragon 636, stock Android 8.1 and 5000mAh battery launched

ASUS has launched their new smartphone the Zenfone Max Pro M1 at an exciting price of Rs.10,999. It is a mid-range smartphone from Asus and probably the best smartphone they have ever made.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 sports a 5.99-inch 18:9 display with Full HD+ resolution which is protected by 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with either 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM and it has storage 32GB and 64GB respectively. It is a dual sim device with a dedicated microSD card slot. There is also a special 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant which will be available after some time.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 houses dual cameras at the rear in which one of the sensors is a 13MP and the secondary sensor is a 5MP sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP snapper with LED flash for selfies. In the 6GB RAM variant, the primary rear camera has a 16MP resolution. The front camera is also getting an upgrade of 16MP in the 6GB RAM variant.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 is the first smartphone from Asus which runs on stock Android 8.1 (Oreo). The device sports a fingerprint sensor on the back and comes and also has face unlock. The device is backed up by a massive 5000mAh battery which can be charged by a 10W charger which can charge the phone from 0 to 100% in 2 hours and 42 minutes.

There is also a special accessory in the box which is a passive amplifier called Max Box that can amplify the sound two times.  The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro (M1) comes in two colors Deepsea Black and Gray. The 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant cost Rs. 10,999, on the other hand, the 4GB RAM variant will with a price tag of Rs. 12,999 and the special 6GB RAM variant will be available at a price of  Rs. 14,999.
