Micromax IN 1b

Micromax is a well-known Indian smartphone brand, recently they’ve re-entered the smartphone business in 2020.  Micromax 1N is their latest budget series where IN 1b is the entry-level smartphone.  For a 7k machine, the design looks clean with a teardrop notch and a screen size of 6.52 inches ( HD+ ). The display quality is on par with 10k smartphones and we have no complaints.

The best thing I like about this smartphone is the pure android experience with bare minimum bloatware. The performance is much better than I expected with the Helio G35 gaming processor from MediaTek. It comes in two options with 2 GB RAM/32 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM/64 GB ROM. If you can afford the 4 gigs variant, you should definitely go for it.

A 5000 mAh battery houses the Microm IN 1b which is more than enough to last a day and also supports USB Type-C which is rare in this category. The fingerprint sensor is at the back and hardly you’ll find an In-Display fingerprint sensor at this price. The camera quality is just average which isn’t surprising as brands have to cut the costs. If you’re looking for the best phone under 7000 Rs with good battery life, long-lasting battery, and pure android then Micromax IN 1b should be the No 1 smartphone on your bucket list.

Pros

  • The design is quite decent for a 7k smartphone
  • Really good battery life
  • USB Type-C support
  • Pure android experience
  • Performance is decent

Cons

  • Average camera quality

Realme C20

Realme has probably launched a ton of budget smartphones more than any other brand and only Xiaomi comes close. Realme C20 is one of the best phones under 7000 Rs to buy in India for many reasons. The budget Realme phone gets a 6.5-Inch HD+ display which is crisp and fine for consuming media content.  It has an industrial design where Realme calls it Geometric art design.  Build quality is Okish and it’s better to use a back case.

Realme C20 comes with 2 gigs of RAM/ 32 gigs of ROM which is the only variant available and running on the MediaTek Helio G35 gaming processor. The performance is just fine for regular use cases like browsing, watching videos, texting on WhatsApp. For better performance, avoid installing too many apps and stick to the basic apps you need.  Don’t expect much from this mobile especially while playing games. The rear camera gets 8 MP and 5 MP on the front, enough to take some basic shots and selfies for your Instagram.

The Realme mobile houses a 5000 mAh battery for long-lasting usage but skips Type-C support.  It runs on its own platform Realme UI based on Android 10.

Pros

  • Geometric Art Design
  • Long-lasting battery life
  • Decent performer

Cons

  • No Type-C
  • No fingerprint sensor
  • Bulky

Nokia C3

Nokia – The name is enough for most smartphone users where they use to dominate the mobile phone market in the early 2000s and ended their winning string in 2013. They’re back again in this business run by HMD Global and things haven’t changed much. One of the entry-level budget smartphones is Nokia C3 which looks basic in design.

Nokia C3 is not one of those flashy-looking smartphones with a ton of features but does the job for most basic tasks. The phone runs on stock android with a promise of regular updates. The software experience is pure and works like a charm. However, the hardware isn’t pleasing with Unisoc octa-core processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM. Storage capacity is very less compared to other phones but it has a dedicated MicroSD slot which makes up for it. Overall, the performance is decent and does the job well in day-to-day usage.

Nokia C3 gets a fingerprint sensor on the back and a removable 3040 mAh battery. The camera quality is fine with an 8 MP rear and 5 MP front. If you’re looking for the best phone under 7000 with stock android then C3 is good to go.

Pros

  • Stock Android experience
  • No UI Ads
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • The design is minimalistic

Cons

  • Very less storage
  • Average battery life

Techno Spark Go 2020

Techno Mobile is known for its low end budget mobile phones from feature phones to smartphones.  Techno Sparka Go 2020 runs on MediaTek Helio A20 Quad-Core process with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM. The performance is just fine and I won’t recommend for heavy usage.

The mobile phone from Techno features a 6.52 HD+ display with a teardrop notch on the top. On the rear end, you get a 13 MP AI dual camera and 8 MP selfie camera with a flash support. It gets the job done in day light circumstances and captures decent selfies with the front camera sensor. The fingerprint sensor on the rear gives the added advantage. The battery capacity is whopping at 5000 mAh which can last a day.

Techno Spark Go 2020 is a decent smartphone for casual users, So if you’re looking for a best smartphone under 7000 then this one you should definitley consider.

Pros

  • Decent performer
  • Good camera in day light conditions
  • Long lasting battery juice
  • Fingerprint sensor support

Cons

  • No Type-C support
  • Slighly bulky

Itel Vision 1

Itel vision 1 is one of the best phones under 7000 Rs with 3 GB RAM where most brands offer only 2 GB at this price point.  It has the screen size of 6 Inches with HD+ and 2.5D curved glass display. The panel quality is sharp and crips which is one of the best in this price range.

Itel Vision 1 is one of the few and probably only smartphone under 7000 with 3 GB RAM. On top of that, it houses the Unisec SC9863A octa-core processor and has a 32 GB of internal storage. Overall the performance is pretty good and enough for day to day tasks. The battery life is okish with 4000 mAh capacity with micro USB port and sadly no Type-C.

For security, it features a rear fingerprint sensor as well face unlock. The camera quality is just average and clicks okish in good light conditions. The build quality and design is not up to the mark. Itel vision 1 is the one for people who’re looking at higher ram for better multi tasking.

Pros

  • 3 Gigabytes of RAM for better multitasking
  • Vibrant display
  • Decent battery life
  • Fingerprint sensor and Faceunlock support

Cons

  • Average camera
  • Average build quality
