Motorola launched their latest smartphones for 2018 the Moto G6 and the Moto G6 Play. Both the smartphones runs on near-stock Android 8.0 Oreo and has water-repellent coating. The new Moto phones come with modern 18:9 design and look good for 2018.
The Moto G6 is an Amazon exclusive device which starts at Rs 13,999 whereas the Moto G6 Play is Flipkart exclusive and priced at Rs 11,999. You can buy both the smartphones from their respective online stores and their sale starts at midnight of June 5th.
The Moto G6 sports a 5.7-inch FHD+ 18:9 Max Vision display and powered by the Snapdragon 450 SoC and comes in two RAM and storage variant which are 3GB RAM and 32GB storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. In terms of camera, the G6 has dual camera setup of 12MP (f/1.8) + 5MP (f/2.2) with dual-LED dual-tone flash. There is also an 8MP snapper on the front with LED flash. The device is backed up by a 3,000mAh battery.
The Moto G6 Play is powered by the power-efficient Snapdragon 427 processor which drives the 720p HD+ resolution display of 5.7 inches. The device has a humongous battery of 4000mAh. On the other hand, it has a single rear camera of 13MP (f/2.0) with LED flash and the front has the 8MP (f/2.2) with LED flash.
Both the Moto G6 series devices have the fingerprint sensor. The G6 houses the sensor on the front just below the display, while the G6 Play has it embedded within the Moto dimple on the back.
The Moto G6 Play comes in Indigo Black and Fine Gold colours whereas the Moto G6 comes only in Indigo Black colour in India. You can buy these phones from Flipkart and Amazon respectively from the midnight of 5th June.
